Bozeman Montana was the top U.S. finisher in Powder magazine’s “Ski Town Throwdown.” The tournament, which took place in November and December of 2012, involved a March Madness-style bracket of the top 32 ski towns in North America and was decided on by Facebook votes. Bozeman was second only to Rossland/Nelson in Canada, the overall winner, and in its route to the final match-up, Bozeman advanced beyond other competitors from the Rocky Mountain West including Park City, Truckee, Telluride and Colorado’s Summit County.
