Bozeman Montana was the top U.S. finisher in Powder magazine’s “Ski Town Throwdown.” The tournament, which took place in November and December of 2012, involved a March Madness-style bracket of the top 32 ski towns in North America and was decided on by Facebook votes. Bozeman was second only to Rossland/Nelson in Canada, the overall winner, and in its route to the final matchup, Bozeman advanced beyond other competitors from the Rocky Mountain West including Park City, Truckee, Telluride and Colorado’s Summit County.
